About PINTELEH

Giving voice to the spark within

Soul, the pinteleh. That unique flame that drives passion and personal mission - what we are charged to reveal in this world.

The soul is what lies at the center of our educational model, what permeates our movement. It’s that spark which fuels our commitment to reveal, and listen to, the stories of our students’ souls- to discover their destinies.

Join us at Lamplighters’ Annual Fundraising Gala to celebrate our 8th year, giving voice - and the stage - to the soulful songs and stories of our unique Lamplighters’ community.

Our children are our tomorrow. Partner with us to nurture their G-dly spark, the innermost pinteleh, into a living torch that will illuminate the world.

Sponsorships and VIP experiences available.

ABOUT THE HOST

Rosh Lowe

Rosh Lowe is an award winning journalist, motivational speaker and Lamplighter. He has starred in numerous Broadway shows, starting from the age of nine. His decades long experience in the theatre has taught him secrets of connecting with an audience and performance skills that not many other “experts” have access to. Rosh has been a television news reporter for Fox in Miami for the past fifteen years, and regularly speaks about his spiritual journey and how it intersects with his job as a television reporter. His job involves speaking to an audience of tens of thousands every day. The most valued skills in his professions-writing, speaking and performing-are skills that he has passed onto a select few Lamplighters who will be performing their stories with him on the big day.

About Lamplighters

Lamplighters Yeshivah is reclaiming school as a learning community, focused around our children.

Rooted in Torah and infused with a process of questioning and experimentation, we nurture every child in realizing their Divine mission--applying their will, mind, heart and talents in the service of the Creator.

In turn, they will do the same for others. This is Lamplighting.

We are a lab school that’s reclaiming the wholeness of Jewish learning. We recognize the importance of ‘hard data,’ and the role of the ‘white space:’ nuance, anecdote, fluidity. We fortify educators as scientists, using technology, research, and behavior science to customize the learning environment for every student, growing as innovators and leaders in the process.

The most important number at Lamplighters is One. Our core belief is that we do not fit a child into a school; rather, we customize the school to fit the needs of every child. Education, and especially Jewish education, requires supporting the whole child. Click here to read more.
